Biblical Counseling

What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus? What does that look like practically? How should one’s life reflect what they know about the Gospel? These are questions that new believers, and seasoned followers of Jesus alike, need help answering. God has given us everything we need for life and godliness, but when suffering and temptation arise, everyone needs help remembering the truths that God promises us.

Biblical counseling answers these questions in a tangible, practical and powerful way. Biblical counseling is focused discipleship that uses God’s Word and a growing relationship with Jesus as the means of healing and living.

Through our weekly food distribution, we saw a need that went beyond nourishment. Our community has benefited from discipleship and counseling – God has used biblical counseling as a means to evangelize to the Phoenix area. Mercy Ministries with Mercy Hill Church is seeking to provide affordable biblical counseling to a community that is hungry to understand what it means to be a Christian.
